The even increasingly stringent anti-money laundering rules the world over had weakened the previously strict anonymity rules of most jurisdictions. However, the identities of the owners and sometimes even the directors are generally not found in public or searchable records.  The record of Directors and Owners are usually semi-privately kept at the Registered Office and the Registry, and available only to Government agencies.
